MINOLTA DYNAX 505SI

  • 5 photos

The Minolta Dynax 505si, also known as the Maxxum HTsi Plus, is a 35mm autofocus SLR camera body released in 1998. Compared with the later Dynax 505si Super, it lacks Eye Start focus and the film leader out custom function, and limits multiple exposures to two. The camera features a plastic lens mount, reducing its weight by 25g. It was the first Minolta SLR to combine a central cross autofocus sensor with two vertically placed sensors. The Dynax 505si offers five programmed modes, a fully automatic mode, shutter-preferred, aperture-preferred, and manual modes. It has a shutter speed range from 30 seconds to 1/4000 second, a built-in flash with a guide number of 12.
