The Kiev 60 is a medium format SLR film camera manufactured by Arsenal Factory in Kiev, Ukraine, from 1984 to 1999. It is a 6x6cm camera that uses 120 roll film and is inspired by the Pentacon Six, sharing the same lens bayonet mount. The Kiev 60 features an interchangeable 80mm f/2.8 Volna-3 MC lens with an automatic diaphragm. It has a curtain-type cloth focal plane shutter with speeds from 2 to 1/1000 seconds, plus a bulb mode. The camera includes an eye-level SLR pentaprism finder, which is interchangeable with a waist-level finder, and a full-aperture TTL CdS cell exposure meter in the prism. The Kiev 60 is known for its affordability and for handling like an oversized 35mm SLR, making it a choice for amateur medium format photography.
