PENTAX SPOTMATIC F

  • 10 photos

The Pentax Spotmatic F is a 35mm SLR camera that was part of the Spotmatic series, known for bringing Through-the-Lens (TTL) metering to a wide audience. This model introduced fully open light metering, a significant improvement over earlier Spotmatics. It uses a focal plane shutter with speeds from 1 to 1/1000 second and an M42 screwmount for lenses. The Spotmatic F features CdS TTL average metering and was available in both black Asahi Pentax and black and chrome Honeywell Pentax versions. It weighs 640g without a lens.
