The Pentax Espio Mini is a pocketable 35mm compact camera with autofocus and a wide-angle prime lens. It was also known as the Pentax UC-1 in the US. It was available in black, champagne, or silver and is one of the more collectible cameras in the Espio range. The camera features a Pentax 32mm, f/3.5 lens and a Pentax phase-matching autofocus system with focus lock. It has a programmed AE electric shutter with speeds from approximately 1/400s to 2 seconds, and a Bulb mode from 1/2 second to 5 minutes. The Espio Mini automatically sets film speed with DX-coded film from ISO 25 to 3200. The UC-1 model includes a date function, while the Espio Mini has a panorama or normal function indicator on its display.
