The Chamonix 45N-1 Classic is a lightweight 4x5 large format field camera designed for portability and versatility. Constructed from a combination of teak wood, carbon fiber, and anodized aluminum, it weighs approximately 1,470 grams and folds down to a compact size for travel. It offers full front movements (including rise, fall, shift, and axis tilt) and rear movements such as tilt and swing. The camera uses a rear-centered screw-drive focusing system, which provides smooth and precise focusing. With a maximum bellows draw of 395mm and support for a wide range of focal lengths, it's suitable for both beginners and experienced large format photographers. Priced competitively, the 45N-1 Classic is often favored by students and outdoor photographers seeking a balance of function and weight.
