Harman Phoenix II Color 200 is a second-generation color negative film released in July 2025, featuring a completely redesigned formulation from the original Phoenix with new dyes, couplers, and experimental layer construction. DX-coded at ISO 200 with optimal results between ISO 100-200, the film processes in standard C-41 chemistry and is available in both 35mm (36 exposures) and 120 formats. Compared to its predecessor, Phoenix II offers improved contrast, grain structure, sharpness, and better highlight/shadow retention while maintaining the characteristic analog look, though with less unpredictable color shifts. The film provides enhanced scanning performance at default settings and greater exposure latitude flexibility, though accurate exposure is still recommended for optimal results.
