The Ricoh 500 G is a compact coupled rangefinder camera introduced by Ricoh in 1972. It features a fixed-mount Rikenon 40mm f/2.8 lens and offers both automatic shutter priority exposure and fully manual control. The camera's mechanical shutter provides speeds from B to 1/500 second. A projected viewfinder needle pointer indicates the aperture setting. It has a focusing range from 0.9m to infinity and an aperture range of f/2.8 to f/16. The 500 G includes a hot shoe and PC sync for flash. It was also sold as the Sears 35|RF.
