The Nikon F75, also known as the N75 in North America and U2 in Japan, is a 35mm autofocus SLR camera released by Nikon in 2003. It was one of the last consumer 35mm autofocus SLRs marketed by Nikon and was available in both silver and black finishes. The F75 was discontinued in 2006. This camera was the replacement for the F65. The F75 can only use DX coded film, setting non-DX film at 100 ISO, and infrared films cannot be used. It features a prewind film transport system, where the entire roll is offloaded onto the take-up spool upon loading and then wound back into the canister as film advances after exposure. This system ensures that exposed shots are not ruined if the camera back is opened. The camera counts down the number of available shots. Power is supplied by two CR2 batteries.
