The Kodak Retina IIIc (Type 021 Model I) is a 35mm camera introduced at Photokina Cologne in 1954. It features an f/2 50mm Xenon or Heligon lens and a coupled rangefinder. This model includes an uncoupled exposure meter that reads in Light Values. The Retina IIIc has a Synchro-Compur shutter with speeds from 1 second to 1/500, and its lens assembly slides forward, providing more rigidity than earlier Retina models. It also has a film advance lever on the camera base and supports interchangeable front lens components.
