GRAFLEX SPEED GRAPHIC

  • 29 photos

The Graflex Speed Graphic is a large format camera that was first introduced in 1912. It is a versatile and durable camera that has been widely used by professional photographers for many decades. The Speed Graphic features a focal plane shutter, which allows for a wide range of shutter speeds, from 1/1000th of a second to several seconds. It has a bellows system that allows for adjustments in focus and perspective, making it ideal for architectural and landscape photography. The camera uses sheet film in various sizes, including 4x5 inches and 5x7 inches, and has a ground glass back for composing and focusing the image. The Speed Graphic also has a range of interchangeable lenses, allowing photographers to choose the lens that best suits their needs. It is a heavy and bulky camera, but its robust construction and versatility make it a popular choice among large format photographers.
