The Canon EOS 300V, also known as the Canon Rebel Ti, is a 35mm SLR film camera released in 2002 as an upgrade to Canon's EOS Rebel series. It is known for having the fastest autofocus and most advanced autoexposure in its class at the time of its release. The camera features a stainless steel lens mount, replacing the less durable plastic mounts of previous EOS Rebel cameras. It uses a TTL CMOS sensor with 7 AF points for autofocus and a TTL 35 zone SpD sensor for exposure, with a metering range of 1 to 20 EV. The electronic shutter offers speeds from 30 seconds to 1/2000 in 1/2 stop, plus bulb mode, and an X sync of 1/90s. It has a built-in flash with a guide number of 12 (ISO 100) and is powered by two 3V CR2 batteries.
