The Canon EOS 3000 is an autofocus SLR camera for 35mm film that was introduced by Canon in 1999. It was also sold as the EOS 88 in Asia. This model was not sold in the US. To keep it a lower-cost model, it features a pentamirror viewfinder and a manually-activated popup flash. It includes a full range of autoexposure modes, as well as off-the-film flash exposure setting. The camera has motorized film transport and requires two 3-volt CR123 lithium batteries to operate.
