The Canon EOS 1000F is a 35mm film SLR camera that was manufactured in Taiwan between 1991 and 1993. It is known as the EOS Rebel S in the Americas and the EOS 1000F in Europe and other regions, and features a built-in flash. This prosumer camera offers both auto-focus and auto-exposure capabilities. It includes a range of automatic, manual, and scene modes, such as sports, people, animals, landscapes, and macro. The EOS 1000F utilizes lenses with the EOS EF mount and was commonly sold with a 35-80mm f4-5.6 zoom lens. Its vertical-travel, focal-plane electronic shutter operates from 30 seconds to 1/1000 second plus Bulb, with X-sync up to 1/90 second via a hot shoe for Canon's TTL auto-exposure flash. Power is supplied by a 2CR5 6V battery.
